Hey! I’m Joseph /Joe (He/Him)
I believe that we are always capable of change
One thing that I’ve learned over the years that I hold onto as a cornerstone belief is that we are always capable of change.
I love being a therapist because I get to be a part of vulnerable conversations that can blossom into empowering experiences with my clients.
No matter who we are, or where we find ourselves, I find my passion reaffirmed when I experience transformative growth and healing in the therapy room alongside my clients.
If you feel that it’s been hard to see or hope in change, let this be a place where we can kindle that spirit together.
I am a 1.5 generational Korean American immigrant
As a child of an immigrant family that moved between two vastly different continents and cultures from a young age, I’ve been on a journey to slowly realize that my experiences deeply impact my understanding of the world, people around me, and myself.
I understand the complexity one’s cultural background have on a person’s identity, and how their upbringing weaves a rich, but complicated tapestry that sometimes can be hard to untangle and navigate.
Whether you identify yourself as a BIPOC, LGBTQ+, or an ally - I want to learn more about your experiences of what it means to be you, and all the complexity that comes with it.
I hope my curiosity can help gain a better understanding of who you are, and help you towards a strong sense of self that appreciate both your history and the person you are today.
